The Riekes Museum at the Jewish Community Center, Omaha, Nebraska educates visitors on the history of Nebraska and western Iowa’s Jewish community by focusing on the evolution of the area’s synagogues. The display includes a 25-foot long custom-built timeline exhibit with backlit, cut-out photographs of synagogues, a timeline history of significant events and artifacts dating back to the 1860s. Hartman Historical Services recently updated this exhibit, changing the appearance and adding artifacts.
