The operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom display at the National Guard Association’s museum in Washington, D.C., is an interactive educational exhibit detailing the role of the National Guard in Iraq and Afghanistan. It includes a custom built touchscreen kiosk which contains images and information about National Guardsmen for all 54 states and territories.   The exhibit walls are covered with sand colored paint which contains sand in the paint. This unique texture and color presentation was designed to give visitors the feeling of being in the sandy terrain of the Middle East.
Hartman Historical Services also fabricated a temporary exhibit for the National Guard Association’s museum to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the National Guard mobilization for the Vietnam War.
